Terms and Conditions

  1. Ordering: Orders can be placed by through our website's order form. Please provide accurate and complete information when placing your order, including your name, address, phone number. We reserve the right to cancel any order if the information provided is incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent.

  2. Payment: We accept payment via credit card made via our partnership with Squareup. Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement. We do cash in exceptional circumstances, we will discuss this directly with you. All prices are in USD.  To ensure timely payment, you will receive up to 5 payment reminders via email.  If payment has not been received by the specified due date, the order will be automatically cancelled, even if we have previously corresponded regarding design details.  Please note that any design discussions or correspondence do not confirm the order on our calendar until payment has been made.  

  3. Deposits: For orders placed and requested for pick-up within 6 weeks, full payment is required at the time of order acceptance.  We are unable to hold or confirm your order until full payment has been received.  For orders placed more than 6 weeks in advance of the requested pick-up date, a 50% deposit is required to secure the order.  The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the agreed upon pick-up date.  Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it allows us to allocate resources and forecast our schedule accordingly.  If circumstances change and you need to reschedule your order, you may apply the deposit towards a future order, provided that you give us a minimum notice of 1 week and that we have availability for an alternate date.  The applied deposit amount must be used within 6 month of the original order date.  Failure to make the second payment by the specified due date will result in the automatic cancellation of the order, and the deposit will not be returned.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these deposit policies.  

  4. Delivery: We deliver locally for a fee. Local deliveries are free within a certain radius, and delivery fees apply for locations outside the radius. 

  5. Artistic Expression and Design: At Cookie Queen Savannah, we take pride in creating unique and personalized cookies or our clients.  We draw inspiration from various sources, including discussion with our clients and images available on the internet.  However, we do not engage in direct image replication.  Our creations are based on our own artistic approach, ensuring that each cookie is an original piece.  By placing an order and making a payment, you grant us the right to exercise our artistic expression in designing  your cookies.  Please note that due to the nature of our artistic process, refunds will not be provided if the final product design does not align with you personal preferences.  We encourage you to review our portfolio on Facebook and Instagram to get an idea of our artistic style and the quality of our work before placing an order. 

  6. Cancellation and refunds: Due to limitations in our availability, all orders are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed and payment is received, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please understand that our small home-based company relies heavily on accurate order forecasting and production scheduling. As a result, we are unable to accommodate cancellations or refunds. We appreciate your understanding and support.

  7. Allergy Information: Our cookies are made in a home kitchen that also processes nuts, dairy, wheat, and other common allergens. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our cookies are free of these allergens. Customers with severe allergies should not consume our products.

  8. Disclaimer of Warranties: We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided on our website or in any other marketing materials. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided. We make no warranties or representations about the quality, safety, or suitability of our products for any particular purpose.

  9. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our products, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory of liability. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

  10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Georgia. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be brought exclusively in the state.

  11. Modification of Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our products after any such modifications shall constitute your agreement to be bound by the modified terms and conditions.
